About Griffwood Co-op
Spend your days boating, fishing, or cruising the Harris Chain of Lakes right from Griffwood Mobile Home Park - a resident-owned senior community designed for adults age 55 and up. We are located on Lake Griffin in Fruitland Park. Our homes are situated on a terraced hillside, and many offer beautiful views of the lake. Each home is nicely landscaped, and many have beautiful live oaks.

Who are we?
Griffwood Co-Op, Inc., is a cooperative senior community designed for adults ages 55 and older.
A cooperative mobile home park in Florida is a community where residents-members own a share of the corporation. Members elect a Board of Directors (who are resident members) to manage the community along with a licensed community manager.
Members enjoy benefits like lower costs, more stability and vote on how the park operates. Griffwood Co-Op, Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates under Florida Statute 719.
Where are we located?
We are located on Lake Griffin on the pristine Harris Chain of Lakes in Fruitland Park. Our homes are situated on a terraced hillside, and many homes offer beautiful views of the lake. Each home is nicely landscaped, and many have beautiful live oaks.
Being just south of The Villages, many of our residents enjoy The Villages entertainment, shopping and restaurants. Historic Leesburg is next door and offers lots of antique stores and a Saturday morning Farmers’ Market.
We are a short drive from Orlando International Airport and Sanford International Airport. Area attractions include Walt Disney World, Universal, and beaches, including Daytona, and Cocoa.
We are about equal distance from the Atlantic and Gulf Coast beaches.
What is the size of Griffwood?
We are a smaller mobile home community with 110 lots: 93 are occupied by members; 11 are occupied by non-members; we have one Co-op rental; and five vacant lots.
